Anything else that you feel may be relevant or contraindicated for this practice.

Please remember that we all work to different thresholds. This practice is a guide, it is designed to teach you techniques and sequences and for you to listen to your body and work to a level that is suitable and safe for you. If at any point you feel like you are crossing your threshold, take a break, breathe a few calming breaths and rejoin the group if you feel ok to.

These techniques continue to work long after the practice is over, and if you have more than the allotted time to sit in quiet meditation observing an easy unstructured breath then please do. You will feel the benefit.

You will need…

Something to sit on, if you are sitting on the floor, have something to elevate your hips a significant amount like a bolster, firm cushion or stack of folded towels/firm blankets. You really want your hips higher than your knees and to feel as though you can sit tall like this for the duration of the session.

You could choose to sit in a chair but make sure that your spine is erect and unsupported by the back of the chair and that your feet can be flat on the floor. Some of these techniques will be done laying down so make sure you have the space for this.

It is not recommended that you sit up in bed for these practices. The surface is often too squishy and can encourage bad posture, but also it is wise to cultivate the discipline of getting out of bed and entering the space that you will be breathing in with intention and focus. You can by all means wear your pyjamas though.

Have a blanket handy as sometimes it can get a little chilly doing this kind of work.

We look forward to bringing this work to anyone who needs it, and we ALL need it. Please feel free to invite friends and family to join this community of beautiful humans working to know better, be better and do better.

We love you.
